Looking for a noninvasive protocol to better the appearance of wrinkles by your eyes?
Constantly moving your face is one of several factors that can lead to wrinkles. One such type of wrinkle is a frown line, which appears vertically between your eyebrows.
Dr. Cabrera uses Dysport to address and prevent frown lines. Also known as abobotulinumtoxin A, the injections may be able to temporarily smooth the wrinkles and prevent others from forming.

Dysport Injections are used to temporarily better the appearance of moderate to severe frown/glabellar lines between the eyebrows.
Dysport Injections are for patients 18-65 years old who are looking for a way to deal with frown lines, a way that may produce natural-looking effects without impacting the rest of your face's appearance.
Dr. Cabrera will review your medical history and work with you to determine if Dysport is right for you. Certain factors might make you a less-than-ideal candidate, such as having an asymmetrical facial appearance or having deep facial scars.
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have issues like an allergy to botulinum toxin products, should not receive Dysport Injections.
Dysport is a type of botulinum toxin used to address frown lines and may prevent them.
Dysport relaxes muscles to better the appearance of wrinkles. Additionally, the treatment may prevent wrinkle-causing muscle movements that might make your current wrinkles deeper or make additional frown lines.
Your appointment may last 20 minutes or less. Dr. Cabrera will deliver a single Dysport Injection into five points above or between your eyebrows. You may also receive topical anesthesia to minimize discomfort.
Downtime is low. Dr. Cabrera will discuss any aftercare, such as not rubbing the injection sites.
You may see the effects of Dysport Injections after two to three days, and they may last for five months. Dr. Cabrera will discuss with you when you'll need another treatment session to maintain the temporary effects.
Dr. Cabrera may ask you to stay in the office for a while after your injections to check for side effects. Mild side effects that may dissipate after two days include pain at the injection sites and upper respiratory tract infection.
Dr. Cabrera will also tell you how to recognize serious signs of Dysport spreading to other body areas, signs which may appear hours or weeks after your appointment. Conditions like myasthenia gravis may raise your chance of developing the symptoms.
