When you first visit Genesis, you will meet with Dimitri. He is responsible for personally guiding each patient through the onboarding process. He takes pride in facilitating a comfortable and caring experience during the initial consultation, facility walkthrough, scheduling, and checkout. Mr. Bakoulis has a passion for helping people and feels one of the best and most rewarding ways to help others is by supporting their real healthcare needs. Dimitri takes great care in guiding patients toward the services and programs that best suit their profile.
Dimitri Bakoulis, alongside Dr. Ferdinand Cabrera, has been an integral part of Genesis Health Institute since its inception. When first teaming up with Dr. Cabrera, Mr. Bakoulis pointed out that traditional healthcare practices often lack humanity or personal concern for patients, especially throughout the reception, scheduling, and waiting process. As COO, his priority became to create a one-of-a-kind medical facility where every patient can receive individualized care and feel valued at each step of the process. As a result, Dimitri has seamlessly merged his years of experience in the hospitality industry with his vast knowledge of Genesis Health Institute’s programs and services to create a personalized concierge healthcare experience for each patient.
Mr. Bakoulis has been a certified Metagenics Lifestyle Educator since 2010. He has helped patients achieve their weight loss goals through nutrition, lifestyle changes, and exercise. He has also trained other staff members on how to coach patients to a healthier life.
Before opening Genesis Health Institute, Dimitri was Director of Sales and Marketing at the Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, Director of Catering at Hilton Hotels, and Group Sales Manager at Marriott Hotels. He attended Central Connecticut State University and graduated with honors from Hilton University in 2003.
In addition to his everyday responsibilities, Mr. Bakoulis also takes pride in organizing the Genesis Health Institute’s annual fundraiser, which has raised more than $30,000 for Abandoned Pet Rescue.
